Request Deletion Inside the App
Use this route when you can still sign in to the wadaCrush account you want removed.
- Open the wadaCrush app and sign in with the account you want removed.
- Tap the wadaCrush logo menu, then choose Settings → Account.
- Choose Delete, review the reminder about donating premium credits, and tap Delete again to confirm.
- wadaCrush immediately signs you out, marks the account for deletion, and begins purging personal data within 7 days.
Need a break instead? Choose Hibernate on the same screen to pause your profile without deleting it.
No Access to the App?
Contact support with the subject “Delete my wadaCrush account” when you lost your phone, forgot the login credentials connected to the account, or need to act on behalf of someone else, including a parent or guardian request.
Include:
- The email address and/or phone number used inside wadaCrush.
- A screenshot of a recent login or purchase receipt, when available. This is optional but may help verify the request faster.
- Whether you want premium credits donated to a specific user before deletion.
The support team replies within 7 business days with a confirmation or a request for additional verification.
What Gets Deleted
- Profile information, including name, alias, photo, bio, location, and preferences.
- Primary and secondary contact details, including email, phone number, and alias handles.
- Crush activity, chat history, nudges, and vault credit balances.
- Device identifiers, push tokens, and in-app analytics identifiers.
- Pending crush invitations or secret-admirer messages connected to the account.
What We Must Keep Temporarily
- Payment receipts, chargeback details, and invoices may be retained for up to 7 years for tax and audit requirements.
- Fraud-prevention and abuse reports may be retained as legally required so safety blocks can be honored.
- Server logs and backups that reference the user ID are purged within 30 days.
- Aggregated, anonymized metrics that no longer identify the user may be retained.
Deletion Timeline
You are signed out and the account is marked for deletion.
Personal account data begins to be purged from active systems.
Residual references in server logs and backups are purged.
Limited payment, invoice, tax, or audit records may be retained when legally required.
Once the deletion window closes, the profile cannot be restored. A returning user must create a new account and obtain a new crush or referral code.
Need Additional Help?
The support team can walk you through the process or confirm the status of a previous deletion request.
